Winter Dances, my third full length album, is comprised of five small ensemble works written during a particularly creative period of four years between 2021 and 2024. Other works composed during this time, but not selected for this recording, would have been equally representative of this creative period. Now that I am living near Asheville, North Carolina, and the beautiful Appalachian mountains in the western part of the state, my creativity has been unleashed. It is my hope that you, the listener, will enjoy each of these compositions. (Frederick Glesser)
