Charalambos Platanou was born in Mytilene in 1985.He started playing the piano at the age of 6 and he can play a total of 89 instruments.

From a nearly age he has possessed the gift of "listening"to music and immediately transferring it to his piano. He holds a Degree in Harmony, Counterpoint, Fugue and Orchestration with studies in Music with Technology and Sound Engineering, and holds a Bachelor and a Diploma in Byzantine Music.

He was taught by Michail Travlos and has a Diploma in Composing.

Music was what helped him recover from a serious accident.

The island and its pure soul are the sources of his inspiration. He is a promising young composer with hundreds of unpublished compositions.
